hi.i just wanna ask.do we have to use wineskin if i dowload the latest version?
i have another question.guess its works without the need to dwnload wineskin.but where do i dwnlaod roms?im still downloading but im afraid they will not work with the emultor
As you have also found out yourself, you don’t have to download Wineskin separately in order to make my No$GBA port work. I’ll also add that information on the download page so people won’t get confused in the future.
I can not give you links to ROM download sites as it is illegal to possess the ROM file of a game that you don’t own, which also makes these sites illegal. However I can guarantee you that any ROM that works with the Windows version of No$GBA will also work with my port.

Excellent work. I was wondering if there was a way to play a game on fullscreen? Currently playing Pokemon FireRed and the “Toggle Full Screen” under NoCashGBA is grayed out. Thanks!

Question. I’ve not been able to get any Action Replay cheats working for my GBA games. On the “Enter Cheat Code and Description” interface, I copy the cheat code directly to the top area, then add the name of the cheat to the lower area, and select “Action Replay V3.” However, whenever I click “Ok” to make the cheat, the cheat appears on the “No$gba Cheats” interface with a small box with a question mark to the left of it. I am unable to select/deselect this box. Whenever I use DS cheats, this box is always empty so that I can select or de-select the cheats I want to use. So it works fine in that regard. But what am I doing wrong for the GBA? Also, I assume that for any GBA Action Replay (M) codes, I just need to add it as a separate cheat and select it for whatever codes require it, correct?
A box with a question mark inside it implies that there is a problem with the code you entered. You might wanna check if these codes you are trying to use are for the same region as your game’s.
I’m experiencing errors when quitting this build. I always get an error message saying the program quit unexpectedly, even when I simply just click the close window button. Furthermore, when I try to reopen the app, X11 fails to initialize due to some “core” elements being unable to open. Momentarily after this, the screen freezes and turn an off white color, forcing me to hard reset my Mac if I wish to use it. This problem is resolved by restarting my Mac, but as soon as I reopen and close no$gba, the same cycle continues. I’m running os x mountain lion on a mid 2009 macbook pro. (4 gb ram, nvidia geforce 9400m, 2.53 intel core duo. Thanks for the product and I do truly prefer no cash. The games run flawlessly until I have to quit.
Did this problem exist before updating to Mountain Lion?
I wish I knew. I had no$gba previously, but I was running a different build. I used wine-helper and darwine separately, so I cannot confirm. I opted to download this version because of its greater simplicity. I believe it had similar results even when I used your previous release (7).
Could you try the latest release and give me feedback about this problem?
I used to use this with no problem in OSX Lion. I have upgraded to mountain lion and now the program won’t even start up.
I double click on the icon and it crashes. Any idea whats going on and how to fix it?
Backup your save files, delete the app and get the latest build. It should work with no problems.
